Louise Taylor- Administrator
Hello, I am the Administrator  and the Data Co-ordinator for Sutton Locality. I am based at Arthur Terry School, and my duties include booking courses and activities, updating the database and email mailing lists, finance, and answering telephone enquiries.  I also deal with bookings for the Hub in Mere Green. Contact me for bookings, latest activities and information on our website and social media. As well as parent activities we also offer a range of networking and training for local Childcare providers and Schools.

Ranjan Hoath- Family Support Worker
I am Ranjan Hoath, I am the Senior Worker for the Locality Family Support team and manage the Family Support team.

My role is to offer support primarily to families and parents of children under 5, although I do work with families with older children if there is also an under 5.  My role is varied and includes advising and guiding parents on all aspects related to the wellbeing of their children, and signposting onto services that they may benefit from. Your Nursery Manager or Health Visitor can make a referall to me for Family Support and I allocate one of the team to contact you. Family support is available year round. 

I also co deliver Ante Natal courses and run a monthly Introduction to Solids course. Our staff can deliver workshops on Oral Health and on Fussy eating/portion control (Kids on Track.) I co ordinate the delivery of Parenting courses and the Freedom project. Our staff and partners can support you with courses/groups around behaviour, positive parenting, Sleep issues,early years attendance or speech/communication.

Sharon Clarke- Holland House Centre Organiser

I am Centre Organiser for Holland House Children’s Centre where we are open Monday to Thursday, term time only.   My Admin Support Assistant and I ensure that a warm welcome is received by all our families and visiting professionals and that the centre runs efficiently offering a wide range of services/activities.  We run antenatal parenting courses for expectant parents delivered by our local Midwives and postnatal courses for new mums and their babies.  We also offer a range of activities for families with children 0-3 years; run by trained HHCC staff members to include Baby Massage, Rhythm Rhyme and Story Time and Stay & Play sessions, which include craft/messy play activities.  Our local Health Visiting Team is on site weekly to carry out 2 year Health Review appointments.  We provide a venue and facilities for our local Childminders' to attend and run their own Stay & Play.  We have a dedicated Family Support worker available on site .  You can collect Healthy Start Vitamins from our centre, which is conveniently close to James Preston Health Centre and Sutton town centre.  Tiny Talk Baby Signing also use us as a venue to deliver weekly sessions.

Fiona Godwin- Children's Centre Manager And Teacher
I am the Children's Centre Early Years Manager for Sutton Locality. I oversee the programme of activities for the Centre planned with our Organisers and delivered by staff, partners and colleagues. I try to make sure we match what we are offering to what families in the area need and that you are kept informed about what is on offer. I do this by co-ordinating our Data and ensuring that we receive evaluations and feedback from parents and partners. Please do contact me with any feedback or opinions about our services. I manage our team of Parent Volunteers and I liaise with Parent Representatives. Please contact me if you want to know more about these opportunities.

For our Early Years Network I liaise with our local nurseries, pre-schools and childminders to support them and make links to our local Primary schools to help children make a good start at school. I am the Early Support Champion which means I have a special interest in children with SEN/additional needs and support other members of staff in making sure our services our inclusive. 

 Finally I am a Specialist Leader of Education which means I am available for paid deployment to other schools and settings. Please contact me with any enquiries regarding this which will then need to go to the SLE Manager at Arthur Terry School.

Sue Bailey- Children's Centre Lead
I am an Assistant Head at Arthur Terry School which is the Lead Body for Sutton Locality Children's Centres. This means that our Governing Body is accountable for the Locality services and policies. An A.T. Governor chairs the Locality Strategic Group which ratifies decision making and I would also attend our Advisory Board where parents and partners receive feedback and offer support and challenge. I am the Senior Designated Safeguarding Lead responsible for child protection. Each Centre has its own DSLs displayed and we have duty DSL in holiday periods also. 

Local Authority officers would contact me about our Delivery Plan and Performance and with any Information requests.

I am actively involved in the work of the Centres and co deliver Ante Natal courses to parents plus offering Training including Prevent and Safeguarding to local schools and settings  I regularly visit all our Centres and different services and look forward to meeting you.

return to top Outreach Team

Jessica Smith- Boldmere Outreach Organiser
I am the Boldmere Outreach area organiser. Our activities run in the local community eg Baby Massage, Stay and Plays and Library Story sessions. Please contact me for details of our local area activities. I am based at New Hall Children's Centre where I run targeted groups (eg Teen Parents.) 

I am one of the Locality Family Support Workers.  I am also one of the members of staff trained to co-deliver ante natal classes with our local Midwife.

Sarah Hynett- New Hall Children's Centre Organiser
I am the Organiser for New Hall Centre. As well as introducing new families to the Centre by being available in our on site clinics I also arrange our timetable of activities.

I lead many of these activities myself from Stay and Play to Baby Massage. New Hall has a wide programme of activities from adult education courses, Job Centre plus and Courses for Parents We are open 5 days a week term time only. We also offer on site Swimming Lessons for under 5s with parents.

return to top Toy Libraries

Lynda Gregory- Toy Library
 I am a Family Support Project worker with some additional training in running sensory sessions and speech/communication development. I am also the Toy Librarian at Four Oaks Toy Library, based at St James Church Centre. The Toy Library has a wide range of toys on offer for children age 3 months - 8 years, and we also have a new exciting range of sensory toys for all children especially for those with special needs. Another part of my role involves visiting families in the area liaising with the Health Visitor team for Sutton Coldfield.
